The 2008 Happy Healthoween Party is today, Oct. 26 at the PSU Native American Student and Community Center. The Healthoween Party (formerly known as the Sugarfree Halloween Party for Diabetic Children) began five years ago as a safe and healthy alternative to trick or treating. Parents and kids alike enjoy looking at the crazy costumes and jack-o-lanterns, apple bobbing, eating horrifyingly healthy food and laughing at Leapin’ Louie Lichtenstein’s clowning. The party is scheduled from 3 to 6 pm.
