Sugar Challenge: October 2008

For the month of October, avoid ALL forms of sugar. Don’t have candy, ice cream, cookies, or cupcakes. Drink only unsweetened drinks. Stay away from sweetened condiments. Do not drink coffee with sugar in it. Try not drinking coffee.

Whatever you do, avoid sugar until October 31st (Halloween in America) and on that day eat whatever you want. Give yourself a little reward. Go trick-or-treating and get yourself some candy.

Why should people not drink coffee??

Lots of people put sugar in their coffee. Some people can’t function without their morning coffee. Many people can’t function without morning coffee and something sweet. The stimulation that comes from these foods changes your energy levels in radical ways. Try living without sugar and coffee for a month and see what you find out about yourself!
