Is it impossible to go completely sugar free?

October 08, 2005

There are traces of (or tons of) corn syrup, sugar, and sweeteners in nearly everything these days. What I’m attempting is to keep off the hard sweets. I will especially avoid my trigger foods.

My Trigger Foods:
1. Flipz (chocolate covered pretzels)
2. Chocolate Chip Cookies
3. Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked Ice Cream
4. Home Made Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

I’ll instead eat my substitutes, especially in the beginning.

Some Sugary Food Substitutes:

Natural Peanut Butter and Fruit Spread sandwich
Peanuts
Apple slices with natural peanut butter
Unsweetened Granola
Unsweetened Corn Chips
