I ate one half the first day and the second half the next. They were Joseph’s sugar free lite cookies. I felt like a grenade was constantly exploding in my gut for two days. Sugar free cookies always do that!
So why did I eat them? (I ask myself…) I had come from class, was really hunrgy, and almost got fast food at Wendys. Instead I went to Whole Foods and was lured to the cookie aisle. Sugar free seemed like a good idea at the time.
Lately I’ve been stressed and trying to get many things done. It’s good to be busy, especially as a freelancer around the holidays, but I need to figure out another way to deal with the stress rather than chomping on chemically sweetened cookies.
The challenge is then: Adrenaline, dealing w/ mindlessness, coping w/impermanence, understanding that people are creatures of Habit, bringing your mind Back to what ever you are doing. Try to juggle five.

I realized I had a sugar problem back in 2003 after a weekend-long binge on raw chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate covered pretzels. As a result, I began trying to quit sugar but kept failing. Finally, I figured out a way to stay off sweet junk food for good.
Don’t quit sugar. Stop Being Sweet instead! Questions? Please ask!
