My name is David Vanadia and I am an artist/internal arts practitioner living in Portland, Oregon. I teach Tai Chi, Qigong, and Yoga at locations around the city.
PDXtaichi.com is a resource for anyone who is interested in learning the Internal Arts. This site contains links to Tai Chi related websites, Portland based Tai Chi schools, essays about Tai Chi, and resources for learning while aiming to help people discover the internal arts in a positive and sustainable way.
My everyday approach to teaching comes from practicing and learning in the parks of New York, San Francisco, and Hangzhou. I am an avid practitioner and a perpetual student who enjoys learning new things to share. As an instructor, I strive to facilitate a fun and challenging atmosphere which leads students to discover the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of developing their own personal practice.
