In this video, Wilson Pitts demonstrates the application of rollback, press, and push. The location of the camera gives you a unique view. Notice he doesn’t lean forward over his right knee. He’s also not stiff, especially in his arms.
Portland Tai Chi Instructor Quin Bakaty is offering public Tai Chi sword form classes on Sundays from 3-4 pm in Portland’s South Waterfront.
Classes are only $5 dollars each, an incredible value.

T’ai Chi Sword, or Si Shi Er Jian Shi, is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. Meet up with other students and teacher Quin Bakaty every Sunday at 3:00 pm in front of Mirabella; from there the group will walk to one of the district’s nearby parks for T’ai Chi Sword practice. All experience levels, first timers, and drop-in students are welcome. Please bring a yard stick.
